H2S - Hydrogen Sulphide - Awareness Training with use of BA (Breathing Apparatus)

Global offshore survival and safety firm, Falck Nutec, have announced a rise in demand for a number of their Hydrogen Sulphide - H2S - courses during 2011 and revealed training dates for 2012.

Stuart Foreman, responsible for Falck Nutec's fire safety courses in Aberdeen, stated that: "The increase in requirements from a number of our clients has meant that we are now able to offer in-house and Maersk-approved H2S training on a scheduled basis. Last year's courses were performed on an ad-hoc basis - the planned courses are proving to be popular with our customers and sales for Quarter 1 of 2012 are going very well. Legislative changes to working in some parts of Scandanavia have led to this rise. The impact of exposure to H2S is well-known, and the fact that we can provide this hands-on training with the use of breathing apparatus adds significant value to delegates' experience. The practical experience of our business partners' instructors (at Aberdeen Airport's Fire Training Group) are vital in providing a valuable training experience"
